It’s hard to believe March is already over and it is already April. I can’t believe it is Easter weekend and I’m uploading picture with snow on the ground. I wanted to look back over March so I will be able to remember it.
March started off with us getting several inches of the most beautiful snow ever. It was perfect. While I love the beauty of snow, I was also thankful it was gone the next day, except for Tristyn’s snow man…..he lasted for several days! Spring weather came the following week.
A couple of my girlfriends and I headed to Austin to train our Plexus team. We had so much fun and we’re blessed to meet so many new
friends!! I love that the room was packed with so many people wanted to hear about our business!!
Back in Dallas, my friend and I appeared on a local tv show talking about Plexus. (I also chopped 5 inches off my hair the night before!)
For spring break, Tristyn and I hopped in the car and headed to Oklahoma. The great thing about homeschooling is that we can choose our spring break. This year we aligned it with Tori’s so we could spend some time with her.
It was the first time I got to meet her new puppy! His name is Bear and he’s a Newfoundland. His favorite thing to do is splash around in his water bowl. He will sleep next to it, while his face is in his bowl. Newfoundlands LOVE water! He will grow to be a whopping 150 pounds!!
I loved being reunited with my shopping partner. We spent an entire day shopping in the best shops around OKC.
My favorite part of the trip was getting to see Tori as a wife and homemaker. She cooked the most amazing Whole 30 meals!! I left feeling so inspired. She definitely inspired me to make some new meals for my husband. Seriously, I got home and couldn’t wait to make the several of her recipes. She’s an amazing cook!
She and her hubby bought a 1940’s home and they are turning it into the cutest home with a farmhouse feel. Isn’t her table the best!?! (For those wondering, table is from west elm, light is from joss & main.)
We also went to the zoo. Probably not the best idea because it was PACKED, but we still had a blast. I think the last time I went to the zoo was when Tristyn was a baby!
Tori and Chad came to Dallas a few weeks later for my nephew’s going away party. He’s decided to join the Navy! We are so excited for him.
Spring weather is here and it is FINALLY time to plant my garden!! We enlisted the kids in the neighborhood to help and paid them in ice-cream! It’s a win-win for all of us!!
I’ve planted tomatoes, banana peppers, zucchini, cantaloupe and cucumbers. I still need to get my okra planted.
Are you planting a garden this year?
