There’s not too many foods that I miss since I went Paleo two years ago, but I do miss having a bowl of cereal every once in a while. I think that’s so funny that of all the things I miss…cereal is it!
I use to love eating a bowl of cereal for supper on nights when my husband was out of town. I would eat cereal almost every morning. I think it was my comfort food.
I’ve come up with a little snack that reminds me of the days when I would eat a big bowl of cheerios with strawberries on top!
I sliced 3 strawberries, add a few blueberries, and about 6-8 walnuts to a small bowl.
Top it with 1-2 teaspoons of almond butter (which is my favorite!) Pour a small amount of almond milk. I use unsweetened vanilla almond milk. You can also use coconut milk.
