I love garage sales! I’m always looking for things to use in my garden. My gardens are just an extension of my house….my outdoor rooms.
I scored BIG when I found this ladder for $2.00 a few years ago. It doesn’t look like much but with a new coat of paint and some accessories, it is a favorite in my cottage garden.
I also found this Coke box for $2.00. It is perfect for succulents! I also love adding tea lights to some of my pots on the patio. It’s a perfect touch for an evening outside.
I love antique silverware! I’ve been stamping spoons and using them as herb markers in the garden. It’s a perfect accent.
Chairs are another favorite of mine! I found this one for $5.00. The best part…it was already white so I didn’t have to paint it.
When I find items at such good prices, it doesn’t bother me to leave them outside in the Texas heat.
Mason jars, old watering cans and garden tools are other things I look for at garage sales. What are your favorite garage sale treasures to use in the garden?linking up to these awesome parties: Monday Funday, Making the World Cuter, Motivate Me Mondays, It’s So Very Cheri, Masterpiece Monday, My Uncommon Slice of Suburbia , Tweak It Tuesdays, Knick of Time Tuesdays, Power of Paint, Wow Me Wednesdays, Diy by Design, Transformation Thursday, Wow Us Wednesdays, Farmgirl Blog Hop, Transformed Tuesdays, twelveoeight
