I love this time of year when I get to plant in my garden. I only have a small space so I have to chose my veggies carefully.
This year I planted jalapeno peppers, yellow and green bell peppers, 3 different tomatoes, okra, cucumbers, green beans and blackberries.
It’s coming along quite nicely. The weather is heating up quick here in Texas, so it needs to be water quite a bit.
I love watching things grow from seeds. I’m in awe that a little seed can produce something so amazing!
I planted green beans and a few herbs from seeds.
Tristyn loves working with me in the garden. She spotted the first “blooms” of the season.
(Is that what they’re called…blooms?)
Can you see that cute little cucumber?
This is my first year to grow cucumbers. I’m so excited.
There’s a itty bitty tomato, too!
I’m just getting around to planting flowers. Geraniums are my favorite to plant in pots.
They do great in the hot, Texas summers.
How is your garden growing?
